Yeah I’m confused. Affles has dealt with substance abuse/addiction, divorce, and professional setbacks. At the same time, he’s fabulously wealthy and as far as we know didn’t even get Covid! Not sure what Clooney is talking about. That sounds like a pretty decent hand.

I agree. People are over celebrities self-congratulating each other. Especially in the middle of a pandemic.

Ricky Gervais was in the Graham Norton show and was telling how different the public reaction was to his GG jokes. The first time he hosted the show, people thought he was very disrespectful, but by the end, they were like "yeah, give it to them, we're sick of celebrities".
