And apparently AMM and this professor had known each other for a while because AMM had lived in a nearby upstate NY town and the professor had worked as a librarian and had met her at a number of library conferences. I had read one of AMM's newer books for the class and in our discussion of it, it came up that AMM lives with her partner, a woman named Laura, who works in publishing."
