America has certainly been proudly bellicose in even the relatively recent past. But the withdrawal of troops from the Middle East under the normally hawkish GOP and the fascist Trump, a decision popular with the majority of Americans regardless of party, even has the military hierarchy insisted it was a mistake, is the exact opposite of jingoism. Even the recent expected annexation of Ukraine by Russia is receiving a cautious response by America and there is almost no popular support for involving U.S. troops, let alone great notice of the event by the American public.
Where is the jingoism?
