Still can't watch Drive My Car so I watched Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy. I overall liked it by the time I got to the conclusion of each segment but while watching, it made me feel like I was a ghost stuck in a room with people having intensely uncomfortable/awkward conversations and I was wondering how all of the reviews I read did not mention that feeling at all. Everyone's comments focused on the wistfulness of life and its relationships and here I am watching from between my fingers bc of the secondhand cringe of the situations.

Also watched Undine based in the Ehrlich post and I really liked it.

I finally caved and upgraded to a pro Letterboxd account and I've been obsessing over the detailed stats. I even went through my old syllabi from uni to log films I'd watched nearly 10 years ago bc I never remembered the names of obscure foreign films.

I think if you have 3+ years of logged films, it's definitely worth it! It's so much easier to gauge your viewing habits and set goals based on various lists. I've resigned to paying for this convenience for the foreseeable future.

i'm doing a rewatch of the scream movies in time for saturday when i'll (hopefully) watch the new one. i watched the third one earlier today and it was so awful! i vaguely remember liking scream 4 so we'll see tomorrow
