I was chatting with a friend and we were talking about what we were watching. She raved about this show, and all I could think about was ONTD. I'm so glad I didn't say I had read it was garbage when she asked if I'd seen it.

Emily in paris is a clear sign of how white people in hollywood can create mediocre shit and succeed, but if a person of color has an idea they have to write a fuckin masterpiece just to get it green lit

Two of my work colleagues, who are white women, were so giddy over this show when it started. They pushed me to watch it and I couldn’t finish the first episode. It’s so poorly written and the fashion isn’t even good. People only like the fashion because it’s worn by Emily, a skinny white woman.

so far the people I have seen/know who have proclaimed to love this are the white gays and the Starbucks Karens. That seems to be their main demographic.
