Kevin and Nicky are still so unlikable to me so I just find their drama annoying and tedious to get through. The first two seasons of this show were stellar, they should’ve ended it after the third because it’s so boring and predictable but I want to see how it ends so I keep watching.

I stopped watching midway through season two, it was just too exhausting to cry every episode.

So anyways, I’m assuming that man in the still is actually the dad who somehow survived the house fire heart attack but had had to be in hiding for all these decades? lol sorry but also this show kind of is wild and it’s not THAT far fetched

I'm very glad that they didn't reveal that Malik was the person who stole from Beth and Randall. I kind of feared that the shady person who Malik was talking to early in his story arc was putting pressure on Malik to steal from them because they were affluent and Randall was a political figure in the city. I am somewhat surprised at the part where the guy who broke in to the house was the thief, because, from my recollection, the two seemed like they were very separate incidents so connecting them didn't make sense to me.

I will be glad when this show is over. It was really, really good in the beginning, and now it's just a show where it's like "well, I've invested this much, might as well see it to the end."

i watched season 1 and then promptly fell off after. i'm glad it's ending because i need sterling k brown to do other things. he's too talented to be stuck on mediocre weepy network television. i think there are occasions when the show is good (i think memphis was a very solid episode of television for example and frankly, a show centering around randall and his family would have been far more interesting to me.) but everything i've seen after that regarding this show always just makes me roll my eyes because i guess i'm not super fond of shows or any sort of form of media where i can tell the writers REALLY REALLY want you to feel something. i cry a lot and i cry easily but i need it to not feel so manipulative.

i'm glad mandy got a chance to show that's genuinely really talented via this show though!

Sterling and Mandy both deserve all the awards for making the most of everything they were given. She’s always overlooked and it pisses me off. Hopefully they both keep being booked!
