I was so obsessed with this show but still haven't gotten through the latest season. idk how it went from being "Can't miss and need to watch with no distractions" to...whatever it is now.

I couldn't muster the energy to watch season 5 because while I like the show, i just couldn't watch Tommy get tortured one way or another again during a pandemic. I read somewhere that Jason Statham auditioned for the role. Can you imagine? The essence of Tommy Shelby is staring at you with his sad blue eyes and expression that gives nothing away.

I wish I could get into Peaky Blinders because I love Cillian, but I only made it through to the first few episodes of season 2 before giving up.
