Matthew Lillard and Seth Green were on once promoting Without A Paddle and I honestly can’t remember what the game was but they had a small handful of couples up there with them as well, one is them being two men together. Matthew and Seth were like wait whaaat these two are together?! Graham Norton said “don’t be rude!” And Matthew maybe defensively said they weren’t.
I may remember it worse than it was but I just remember cringing and not being able to watch the rest of the episode lol.

Well you gotta remember he was a pretty powerful guy with blacklisting abilities. Most people knew or had heard the rumors but what can you do when you’re powerful enough to confront it?

Courtney Love called him out on the red carpet almost 20 years ago and was blacklisted by an agency over it.

Plus there was a part of it that not everyone (even here) thought it was as bad as it was revealed to be cause some would make sly casual casting couch jokes too.
