Its really really bad. Zero laughs. Badly written characters. I wouldn’t trust Adam McKay to babysit my turtle.

It was actually funny. And part of the funny aspect was Leo's character who is this stuffy, midlife-crisis professor of astronomy. And JLaw's character is actually bearable. I wouldn't say it's a master piece, but it was entertaining. Plus Meryl Streep is the POTUS

ONTD for whatever reason hates it, I loved it. It's just a very obvious satire about how we react to crises as a society today. Think Idiocracy but the subject is not "morons" but "science-denial". It lampoons everybody, the left and the right, the corporations, the governments, the media and the people. It's not trying to change minds, it's just trying to be a mirror, and it succeeds all too well. The comet is climate change (and Covid) and the way people react(ed) to both is pretty flawlessly depicted soooo 🤷🏽♀️

I laughed a lot. It also had a surprising amount of heart, mostly in the form of Timmy C and brief cuts to the beauty and the glories of the world. The final scene got me emotional fr

I completely agree with everything you said. At moments it made me feel very emotional especially the end.

Saddest moment was Yule asking Kate if she wanted to hang out and be his girlfriend like 5 hours before the end of the world. Feels man

Emily in Paris should've been Mindy in Paris. I love her character so much and I love that the supporting characters were given more depth this season. I love Sylvie and how unapologetically sexual she is.

I LOVEEEEEEEE SYLVIE!!!! I also loved Mindy’s storyline and think she’s so beautiful and charming and funny and I want a show about her. But I’m grateful she got some solo storylines. I’m ok losing Camille and Gabriel tbh, I don’t care for either of them lol

Also, I love Alfie altho I’ll admit that that is largely due to him being hot 🥵

Gabriel is so hot to me but I'm so over the whole love triangle (or square, if we count Alfie) drama. It's so obvious that Gabriel and Emily are in love but they keep dragging their respective "second choices" into this mess. Gabriel was down to cheat on Camille from the very beginning, he should just let her go ffs.

I agree. Like that’s sort of what keeps me from liking him is that even tho they’re cute and obviously care for each other, I can’t get over him stringing her along the first season while he knew he has a girlfriend OF FIVE YEARS!!! I didn’t remember him and Camille had been together that long so I was shocked anew when I heard it. IA about dragging the others in - I actually really like Alfie and like how communicative he was with her and his feelings and what he wanted from her, and I hate that he’s going to be the collateral damage in all of it, especially because he gave Emily the out
