I loved the show, don't know if I can rewatch it without cringing.

Why would you want a $5 FX anthology series when Disney+ is right there?

Surprised the idea of a multiverse hasn't been brought up before considering The Wish and Doppelgangland... but now I want to see Kristy Swanson and Sarah Michelle Gellar mentoring a new Buffy (preferably played by Mckenna Grace)

When Lizzie McGuire was deemed to adult because she was going to have sex or Love, Victor was to mature because it had gays...what makes you think anything Buffy related would get on Disney+?

Thanks for reminding me about the aborted Lizzie McGuire reboot. Eternally devastated.

Wouldn't put them in the same basket though. LM was a legacy kids show... Love, Victor is on Disney+ in my country.

Sorry I'd rather it on Disney+ where they have a track record of throwing huge amounts of money at quality long-form adult television (MCU, Star Wars). The last thing I'd want is for Buffy to end up with a shit anthology like American Horror Story.

Yeah in the US, Love, Victor is on Hulu. So Buffy would probably end up on D+ overseas but over here it'd never be accepted. If it were then yeah I'd totally have it on there.

It’s funny how the first Scooby gang she was in was Buffy given Daphne

Has anyone checked out the Buffy multiverse comic?
I think it has like 30ish issues but I haven't heard much quality wise

The reboot? It sucks imo.

Very rushed. Buffy isn't the popular girl with a great attitude, shes more depressed/loner. Willow is now a cool alt girl w/girlfriend, Xander is depressed and feels like an outsider.

All 3 slayers are active at the same time.

Robin is a teenaged Watcher.

Anya is an adult running the magic box.

Spike is a wimp.

Angel went straight into a spin off.

Cordelia barely appears.

sheesh! I think the only comic writers I could tolerate were the ones that wrote Angel and Faith season 9, then they got poached to Buffy and everything went to hell.
I don't know why it's so difficult for publishing companies to find good writers. They should hire fanfic writers, at least those are fans that are familiar with the source material.

I unfortunately changing/updating things but Buffy had next to no impact on anyone and quickly made unimportant when you have 3 slayers around at the same time.

Thus far Power Rangers comic has done the best job of doing a soft reboot/update.
