“ Executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich says the producers read fan theories about the show but they won't let it inform their storytelling.”

I find this surprising. I thought writers/producers don’t do this as a rule because if fan ideas end up in the show, even just coincidentally, they can get sued.

I think they avoid fanfiction, not theories.

I don't feel like watching it yet, but I don't want to be "late" when all chance of discussion is gone. Very much the downside of streaming society.

Read an early review in which Henry said that the biggest difference with season one is that Geralt talks full sentences now, which made me laugh and worry. He can't go wrong with growling.

I kinda missed the grunts but idk seemed like the man who talks in grunts until they have children and then get softer

IDK SPOILERS TAG SO BEWAREEEEEEEEE!!!

why they didn't 'snapped' her father too lol.

Oh good spotting! I should've noticed bc of the videogame but yeah

Roach :'( I hate when they hurt animals even the monsters I could tell they just wanted to say hi to mommy Ciri.

Also I hated how they made the witchers all bullies to Ciri and even Tissa. I never got that vibe from the games.

Yeeeees, so annoying and not at all what I was expecting from what I read. 😒 And Eskel was barely there then boom, dead!

Can I just say that I cackled when the baby Witcher wipeout course came out in the third ep.

Idk this show is fun to just play in the background while I wfh, but it's not anything great. I find myself cringing a lot at the dialogue and stuff when I pay too much attention to it.
