Shantall's look was incredible and the moment she said that she didn't use a glue gun was the moment she sealed that win. It wasn't a flirty cocktail dress but it was fierce and so well done.
I would have put Bones in the top over Kristina. Kristina's was probably more creative but the top didn't look polished enough to me. Her skirt part was fantastic though. Aaron's look was also great. It reminded me of a modern version of Jay McCarroll's Chrysler Building dress without being a rip off. Still one of the most iconic looks from this show. Shame Aaron's a shit person because I often love his aesthetic.
I don't think Prajje had the worst look. I don't even think he had the second worst look. Chasity, who I love, had a mess up there that was falling apart. Anna's dress also was really ugly. It's near impossible to make cheap take out bags look like anything other than garbage. Prajje got his proportions wrong but the idea was much stronger.
I loved Shantall’s look, the fabric she made looked like quilted leather and I agreed with the judges that it was so well edited and elegant. Straws!!
I also loved Aaron’s but he confuses me a bit as a designer. He’s someone I’d like to see a full collection from if he gets to the final because each week he makes something totally different.
I think Anna should have gone, her garment wasn’t well made in my opinion. I couldn’t tell if the middle button on the bodice was supposed to be popped open?! At least, Prajje’s look was sort of in his aesthetic, even though the fit was awful. That poor model has worn some truly terrible looks this season 😅
The top designs this week were good! I do wonder what this show is about sometimes though bc they consistently reward things that look like clothes that already exist. I didn't agree with many decisions the old judges made but it definitely had a more fashion forward slant in the earlier seasons.
Anna should have gone home but the judges seemed hesitant really criticize her.
I think Aaron will shine in next week's real housewives challenge lol.
I loved Anna's dress. In fact, I liked everyone on the bottom this week, and while they all had some execution issues Prajie made his model look like a box and that's kinda unforgivable.
This was an impressive runway for this season. I agreed with Nina on Chastity’s look. I like Prajje, but it was just not his week. Shantall’s look was beyond most things presented this season.
