Right?! Like he was there he had made it and then to do that, I’d love to know the why, was it for greed, awareness of the culture Trump was creating?

This weird story might as well have happened in a different century at this point. Ah, how different things felt in early 2019.

What’s the point of appealing? He’s gonna walk away with community service or whatever. Leave it alone. It’s not like if they even clear him of everything that the public opinion would change after everything he admitted.

At a certain point, he's invested so much in his lies that he can't give them up. He can't just take the L and admit what he did, so he's gonna keep fighting the charges and yeah it'll probably end up with some community service but his reputation has been damaged maybe beyond repair. I don't imagine many major productions are going to want to work with him.

I hope it doesn’t impact his sister, I’m a fan of hers and think she’s in a tough spot

This makes me so mad because it’s a case people on the right can point to everytime there is an actual hate crime and say there are “bad actors” like no that’s less than .0001% of the time

Fox News spent hours today, literally, gleefully talking about this and you could tell that they were just RELISHING it. They had talking heads on and everything. God I hate that network.

That’s exactly what I thought would happen, Boebert posted some bs about REMEMBER, We must never forget, lol Kamala Harris called the Jessie Smollet situation a modern day lynching…

Off topic but why does their messaging always seem targeted towards folks w/ memory issues

There’s people at Reddit currently claiming that EVERY hate crime since 2016 was fake

I figure that the CPD figured that he was lying and so they got pissed at being fooled lol (oh to be a fly on that wall) and so they went after him for such.

The threatening letter sent to Jussie was the most outrageously horribly planned piece I've ever seen. I cannot believe that was sent like that.
