I think I'm one or two weeks behind over here, but after an entertaining double I'm kind of ..meh on things.

Wtf was that cliffhanger?

Also, very surprised, that we didn't even get the slightest hint about Chimney and Maddie. By the time the show will be back in March they'll be gone five to six month, what a waste of Chims story. We could've seen him dealing with being a single father but surrounded by his friends.
I know finances in TV-shows are only a problem if the story requires it, but he has been off work since October, Maddie hasn't been working even longer, and now he is living in motels and spending all his money on gas to drive all day, even though he has no actual plan? Their emergency fund must be drained af.
I still don't understand where their storyline this season was supposed to go..

the Chimney/Maddie storyline is several levels of wtf and stands out badly on a show that has kind of shitty writing already.

has Chimney just been driving aimlessly around the US for months (?), with a baby in the backseat (??), off work, nobody knows where he is or where he's going (???). And what about Maddie, doesn't Buck know where she is? Or did the writers forget about that?

this show is so stupid.

I would have loved to see chimney dealing with Maddie being gone on screen.

If they really wanted him to go after her they could have had that be the winter finale or just do a few episodes before she’s set to return.

I don’t understand this show.

I hope Eddie doesn't come back tbh he brings nothing to the show besides apparently slurs on social media.

If I was that father with the tree, I'd feel endlessly embarrassed that I cost dozens of people their homes - including my wife and child - for a tree.

Idk, I would not blame myself that a carport pillar (that was apparently load bearing???!?!?!?!?) was that weak that some jostling, which simply isn't the type of force that is unreasonable, would bring it down.

well, Eddie also brings his devoted fanbase to the show, which is why I'm sceptical they'd actually get rid of him.

I checked out the 9-1-1 reddit once and saw his fans calling people racists for saying he was a bad actor. I'm not a reddit user so idk if all reddits are that stupid or just this one but I noped the hell out of there.

In the defence of the idiot with a tree, landlord didn’t reinforce the structures after the Earthquake and that’s why. And realistically a small tap from a car like shouldn’t take a facade out like that.

Also when they were doing the toy drive in the beginning, someone on Twitter mentioned that they had an Appa plushie in the shot 🥺

This show has always been ridiculous but there seems to be something missing that’s making it less entertaining… every time the actor that plays Eddie shows up it seems like he shouldn’t even be there.

And what’s going on on with the storylines?
