The West Side Story album is so gorgeous. I wish the orchestra supported the voices, but I co-sign Sondheim's comment regarding Rachel. She sounds like a Nightingale.

Ansel should be removed from the album, then it would be okay.

I listened to Jason Boland & The Stragglers -- The Light Saw Me. It's a concept album about a cowboy from the 1890s who gets abducted by aliens and gets returned to 1990s Texas. One of the strangest concepts I've heard lol! Produced by Shooter Jennings.

i love the new sza song, it's soothing and spiteful and funny. love the passion in the "i do" and "fuck youuu"s after "if you wonder if i hate you" lmaooo

other than that i've had kai's peaches & twice's doughnut on loop this morning. loving these dreamy wintry food-themed kpop (jpop technically i guess in the case of twice) releases this week lmao. now i'm just mad that it's 70 degrees outside today here for some disgusting reason.
