I enjoyed it for the most part, some of the scenes between Kate, her mom and her future step-dad dragged on a little to long but if there is a pay off for them, I'll take it.

The music is something I really loved so far, especially when Kate was sneaking around in that auction and Carol of the Bells was incorporated into the music.

Kate and Clints dynamic is great and I love how they allow Clint to be more 'fun' without it feeling untrue to his previous MCU appearances.
I also really loved his kids in this one, but I guess we won't see too much of them until Clint comes home for Christmas in the final episode.

His grief for Natasha was nicely done and I am glad we have a show like this because I feel like we really wouldn't get something like that done properly in the movies.

ETA: also Kate lives in the apartment Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl) lived in, right? I kept thinking that I knew that staircase from somewhere.

Overall I enjoyed it. It feels like it's missing a tiny bit of something that I can't put my finger on, but I wasn't bored and that's the best way to get me to stop watching. We better see more of Grills and Lucky/Pizza Dog. Also does anyone else think Lucky's missing eye is CGId? I've seen enough one-eyed dogs in shelters and on all the Animal Planet shows I watch to think it's not real.

Pictures of them filming with the dog showed that he had two normal eyes, so the definitely CGId that. I would guess you need not just one dog, so it would probably be hard to find several dogs with one eye that look alike?

Yeah, it’s cgi’ed. If a dog loses an eye, the vet [Spoiler (click to open)] cut the eyelids off so they can stitch up the eye socket, pizza dog had his eyelids, so it looks weird Spoiler tagging cuz it’s kinda icky.

of all the young female stars, hailee steinfeld has the most charisma by far. she is just infinitely watchable

I agree, she’s so charming on screen
