It never ceases to amuse me how much Christopher Plummer abhorred the Sound of Music.

I adore her in Victor/Victoria. That's one of my most fave feel-good films.

The Help is so offensive.
I remember thinking that when it came out.
I'm glad Viola spoke out against it.

Jared Leto, Suicide Squad

We were blissfully free of him for years after Dallas Buyers Club and then this shit came along and now we’re stuck with his hurts like satan ass.

Can you imagine Leto as Joker and Lady Gaga as Harley? I'd rather watch that than House of Fucci

I die every time Alec Guiness is brought up with respect to his feelings about Star Wars.

I just watched an interview with him from that time. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. He did criticize the dialogue, but said he couldn’t stop reading the script because it was so engaging and when he finally saw the movie he thought it was marvelous escapism

I think that’s a great way to talk about sci-fi, fantasy, marvel/dc movies.

‘marvelous escapism’ they don’t need to be prestige dramas or biopics or oscar bait. I just need to be entertained.
