It really felt like we had the park to ourselves, especially when they took us through the queues and the only time we stopped was when the tour guide wanted to point out something cool like the daily bugle office in the spider-man queue
Lately I've been listening to podcast the ride, and I always crack up when they refer to themselves as theme park journalists bc that was literally my dad's job

*i havent been to disneyland since dec 2019 so i know fast/maxpass no longer exists. and this new genie+ thing confuses me.
but i remember when splash mountain first opened at disneyland, it felt like we waited 5 hours to ride the damn ride.
