I don’t understand why people are so invested in pointing out that spoilers have been removed from this trailer. I want the first time I see spoilers to be when I watch the movie, and I’m sure the creators want that too.
But at the same time, my November 2021 resolution is to let people enjoy things, so if people enjoy being trailer sleuths for spoilers we know about, okay.
ETA: but good eyes on the bad editing! I didn’t even notice.
ETA 2: lol at the Sony tag. Is that just their tag now? I love it.
That’s what I heard will happen [Spoiler] in those shots John Campea released, it looked like Tom had been through the ringer and Tobey and Andrew looked fresh.
[Spoiler (click to open)]in the trailer when strange said they’re coming through and he can’t stop them it sounds like he could be talking abt andrew and tobey and that seems to be in the final battle :/
People found previous Spider-Man movies a lot of fun when they were kids and so looking for them in this movie hits a lot of nostalgia buttons.
But at this point I think it’s become a game. Making fun of the actors lying badly in interviews, deciding if leaked photos are real or fake, etc.
Edit: I’d say I’ve enjoyed the spoiler-craziness leading up to this movie more than I expect to enjoy the movie. Sometimes I think they’re dumb (is that really Andrew’s arm?) but it’s been fun.
It’s a cool little pop culture moment. Billions of people LOVE Spider-Man. I’ll never forget as a kid watching the very first one in theaters and the audience was cheering SO loud when the title card came up. This was 2002!

Which to me means the other two are probably much more in the movie than Sony wants to say.
