Every episode of this show seems like it has Grey’s Anatomy Season Finale level catastrophes. And I only know about it from the posts here.

This weeks episode was so good, it felt like season 2/3 again.
I loved the hospital characters, they did a good job endearing us to them so we'd feel the angst and tension throughout the episode.

The Michael/David story was great in this episode. It's a shame though that they are (seemingly) written off the show and haven't even kissed once, not even at their own engagement. What is up with that?

First thing I noticed is that they didn’t kiss and just shared a long hug.

The actor who played Michael is being written off the show because he refused to be vaccinated. I’m guessing that’s why there was no kiss.

Lone Star already has two overly religious characters where they centered an entire episode on it (Grace and Judd) and now this one had Athena asking to pray with the patient’s wife out of nowhere then goes into a whole montage scene of everyone praying.

It’s weird and jarring.

I thought it was weird too.. Maybe Athena turned a new leaf after her incident.

this show would be better if more people could act. It's jarring how you have some really good actors on the one side (or people who play their specific character very well) and then some who struggle to emote on the other.

I keep seeing gifs of this on tumblr (i know) and now I'm tempted to watch it because I'm looking for a new show, but idk how annoyed I would be seeing stuff from the new season when I'm still trying to catch up. I guess none of it really spoils too much? Nothing big seems to happen on the show.

ETA: That said if the two firemen get together before I catch up, I will be annoyed.

I doubt it. As far as we know they are both straight men. They had the perfect opportunity to introduce one of them as bisexual and in his flashback episode and they did not. I honestly can’t see them going that route.
