I've read Picnic at Hanging Rock recently as well as the small final chapter that wasn't released in the end. The book itself was nice, the added final chapter not so much but then again I feel like it was never properly edited so it felt off.

As for books in general. I have taken on the challenge of reading all of the books Agatha Christie released by order in which they were released. I just finished Murder on the Links.

"Dutch navigator Willem Janzoon was the first documented European encounter in the early 17th century and the country was known as New Holland"

Don't tell Dutch white people, it will be "New York should have been ours!" all over again.

The Natural Way of Things sounds very tense, while I've been waiting for The Hate Race for a while now.

I want to read all of these but will confine myself to Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy because I read her latest novel, Once There Were Wolves, and it was great so I'm sure this will be good too. Dark Emu sounds really good too.
