Clinton outthinking Ken Starr and his lackeys in his grad jury appearance was both frustrating and delightful. There were no winners there and I don’t think a president should be impeached for lying about a personal matter but Clinton was and is a serial sexual predator and should be held accountable for that.
I don’t know if I believe that Hillary believed Bill about Monica and all the other women. She has always seemed so smart and incisive. Bill has been followed by stories of affairs and assaults since he was in his early 30s. I just have a hard time believing that she had blinders on until this event and not any of the other times. What made Monica Lewinsky different from Gennifer Flowers?
I felt the same watching that exchange between Starr and Clinton. I found myself chuckling as Clinton outsmarted Starr and then immediately feeling angry with myself because it's fucked up that Clinton so smoothly circumvented all of that when he was obviously a creep and a predator. It's an instance where it all feels so wrong but you realize the prosecution didn't actually care about those women and the harm he caused them, they just used those women to fulfill their shitty political agendas.

I guess it's plausible that she was in denial about Gennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, etc. and it was easier to remain in denial since he had yet to own up to it like he was forced to do with Monica once the physical evidence came out. Idk!
I could see Bill lying to Hillary that it's just people out to get him. I could be wrong but that would be the only reason. he seems like a straight-up fuckboi and sometimes the smartest ladies like Hillary fall for manipulative lies.
