Kristin Cavallari specifically tagging Franklin, TN is hilarious to me because that place is a cesspool. Like mere months ago they went viral for a yt people riot after a school board meeting on mask mandates. When I went to high school there school shut down for a week because of ‘gang tensions’ which was code for the country boys wrote horrific racial slurs on the side of the school and they didn’t want to punish any white kids for it so they just shut down in hopes that the Black kids would forget and not ‘cause a scene’. But sure, enjoy your estate proudly there, Kristen💀

Since reading that comment I noticed the NYT has a story about Franklin on the front page. It’s heartwarming because the downtown square just got a statue of a Black soldier to honor the ones that fought in the Civil War. But it’s also heartbreaking because they had to add that in addition to the typical Confederate statue in the square’s middle that the town legally can’t remove🥴 I feel like THAT bullshit perfectly sums up that town.

Seeing a pic of Bruno mars today is absolutely fascinating to me. He's one of those artists who used to offer something new to the scene, except that now it has been 5 if not more years that they have been stuck in the same era since then. Now you just look at them like you would look at a piece of your favourite kind of sandwich that has grown stale.
