Since it was claimed she “walked away” last year I’m sure some of you may be pretty confused or upset, and even moreso that a lot of lies were spread today. Just know we have a lot of great souls working on this show and none of this changes that. From the top to the bottom.

So... good people work on the show, Dougray is not an asshole, and Ruby is a pain in the ass. What about the unsafe working conditions, her injuries, and someone getting terribly burned on set?

Someone on Reddit said she got injured on another film set and tried hiding it while filming Batwoman so the insurance would cover it. They also said Ruby never did any stunts on the show, they could barely get her to act.

I know RR is not reliable and I can believe she was hard to work with but I can simultaneously believe it was a shitty place to work? idk it seems like there's a very coordinated memo that went out to cast and crew to say they LOVE! WORKING! THERE! and it's like... I hope it's not a toxic work environment, I really do, but I also don't entirely trust people still working at a job to trash their own job, out of self-preservation and fear of not getting future jobs.

I mean, as far as I'm concerned, no set is a safe, comfortable environment to work in. so I definitely believe that.

It's definitely suspicious that nobody is focusing on the allegations about the work conditions but I also wonder if she'd really care about those conditions if she hadn't been fired. If she was constantly late she also made work conditions unsafe since crew members are the first to come and last to go, so they had to stay longer bc she halted production.

Everything about this is a mess, we are never going to find out the truth, just bits and pieces, the story about the working conditions should get more attention, esp. after how much has come to light from IATSE stories.
