The Japanese remake of Cube is coming out tomorrow and I can't wait. If anyone is looking for a new-old thriller movie, check out Cube (1997).

Love Saoirse but I’m not gonna sit through The French Dispatch for her cameo. It comes off as so pretentious.

Oh shucks, I haven’t been to a movie theater in so long, pretty sure the last time I went was to see Parasite, that I may actually see The French Dispatch lol. Not a huge Wes Anderson fan but I looooove Fantastic Mr. Fox. I also want to see The Harder They Fall and those docs about Cousteau and Tom Petty look really interestingly

And I finally watched Lady Bird and some of those mother-daughter scenes hiiiiiiit too close to home. And Kyle would have absolutely been the weird alt white boy I would have crushed hard on school. 🤦🏾‍♀️ But I loved the film though

Seeing French Dispatch tomorrow and Dune on Saturday morning -- double feature of ONTD fave TimTam Chalamam! 💖💖💖

I like Raul Castillo, but Megan and Debby Ryan in the same movie is just too annoying for me, sry.

I'll wait for streaming for Louis Wain (I thought you wanted to leave the eccentric geniuses behind, dude!!) and The Harder They Fall.

It is truly my weekend!!

Got to go to an early screening of The French Dispatch yesterday, and I absolutely loved it.

Admittedly, I like most of Wes Anderson's films, but I wasn't a fan of Isle of Dogs so I was a little apprehensive about this one. I needn't have worried! If you don't like his style, this isn't going to change your mind at all, but I think most people who dig his work will really like it. I saw it described as "a love letter to journalism" and I'd cosign that sentiment. The movie is structured like a long-form magazine, with several distinct segments, and they are all funny and uniquely weird. There are probably 10ish decent sized parts, but most of the actors in the film are in glorified cameo roles. Jeffrey Wright's section was probably my favorite, but I truly did like them all! I'll probably go see it again next week.

Our schedule is pretty full for the next few days, so we don't have tickets for Dune til Sunday afternoon. :( However, my husband is working from home tomorrow, so I may cheat and go see it by ( ... )
