Earlier tonight I was thinking about how I can’t tell you a goddamn thing that happened on Glee. If feels like a fever dream even though I watched almost up until the last season and was a pretty massive fan at the time it was on. I even watched a lot of episodes multiple times yet have no real recollection of the show. It’s so weird.

I was a wannabe theater kid. I've loved musicals and theater since I was a kid. I never did any school plays because I was fat, shy, and hated being in front of a large group of people, but I loved singing and acting and always wanted to be on stage. I really wish I had the confidence as a kid to try out for plays and musicals. That's one of my biggest regrets.

Same! Never mind all the complicated feelings that get stirred up while wanting your turn in the spotlight and simultaneously wilting any time you have to be the center of attention.

My school never had drama club, but drama class was offered one year. We watched a lot of movies and did many table reads, mostly of SNL sketches. Honestly I wish they’d kept the class - once I found out I was capable of making people laugh with my impersonation of Ana Gasteyer impersonating Celine Dion, it really helped my confidence lmao

It's truly terrible to be seeing it already in young students.

I was friends with a lot of drama/theater kids and I felt like it was the best of both worlds I got to experience it without experiencing it if that makes sense?
