Wanda and Vision divorced. Peter and MJ magically divorced. Matt and Elektra have a relationship that is pretty complicated. Scott mentally cheated on Jean, and Jean always had a thing for that hairy short Canuck. Cap and Sharon aren't really a big couple in comics.

I don't disagree with the idea of Rogue and Gambit being iconic and deserving of a cover, but if the argument that T'Challa and Ororo shouldn't get one because they're not together, well...

Fox News had a cry fest over Superman no longer representing America and wants someone to launch a new comic label dedicated to America to take down DC and how our country doesnt teach kids to love Ameica anymore.
