Disney releases new trailer for Peter Jackson's Beatles documentary series

• In 1969, director Michael Lindsay-Hogg was granted unrestricted access to the recording sessions for what would become the album Let It Be. He also captured footage of The Beatles rooftop performance, the last live performance the band would ever play. The Beatles mean nothing to me, but I'm still going to watch because the restoration is just. Wow. Incredible.

100 years late, but it is really really good, I found it absolutely fascinating. I don't know where it is streaming though.

daaaamn that restoration! had no idea that was their last live performance either. anyway this looks like a less funny spinal tap, it just doesn’t feel like a doc with the way it’s shot

for the 5 people on ontd who actually like the beatles - what are your favourite songs off the album?
apart from the title track i never got into it tbh but i like their other music so

It's not my favorite Beatles album but I like most of the songs on it: Two Of Us, Across the Universe, I Me Mine, Let It Be, and The Long and Winding Road are highlights for me.
