I'm going to see Lamb but I hope there isn't too much animal violence...

I saw Titane last night and it was a wild ride. I have no idea what to think of it. I was impressed by the filmmaking though.

i watched the night house last night and really liked it! rebecca hall was amazing, and it genuinely scared me at a few parts.

So glad people are seeing this movie!! It's easily one of my favorites so far this year - Rebecca Hall was excellent and the tension was off the charts. Seeing it in theaters, that one scene [Spoiler (click to open)] where she lays down on her friend's lap and you can tell it's obviously going to be a jump scare was still so fucking tense when it hit, lol.

Looking forward to see Bond this weekend! I accidentally reserved seats in Dolby instead of IMAX and wanted to fix it, but holy shit, every IMAX showing at a reasonable hour is completely packed for the entire weekend. This movie is gonna make bank!

Might catch Mass as well. My husband thinks Lamb looks dumb and refuses to go, so if it's good, I'm gonna have to go it alone.

Recent watches include Titane and Attack the Block. Titane was audacious and weird and covered a surprising amount of ground thematically. I wouldn't say that I loved it, but I thought it was really good and I respect the hell out of the filmmaker for having such a specific vision (even though I had to cover my eyes throughout, lol). And Agathe Rouselle was amazing! I've really enjoyed reading all of the theories about the film.

As for Attack the Block, I think people kind of overhyped it for me, but it was fun enough.

While we were watching Attack the Block, I recognized the one guy buying weed and looked him up. His name Luke Treadaway, which I didn't ( ... )

Where are you reading theories about Titane? I want to read more about it! I read a little bit on letterboxd and that already helped me appreciate it more.

Basically just Letterboxd, the r/movies thread about it on Reddit + Twitter. Spoiler/TW: SA [Spoiler (click to open)]For instance, the idea that she was raped by the stalker guy and then imagined that it was the car to escape the mental trauma of it was something that makes a lot of sense to me in retrospect, but did not occur to me at all while watching the film.

Oooh that's interesting. I definitely didn't think of that either!
