Lee Jung-jae, Park Hae-soo, Wi Ha-joon and Jung Ho-yeon talk about starring in Squid Game, the show’s massive popularity and the origin of the Red Light, Green Light doll... oh, right, WHILE LOOKING EXTREMELY FUCKING HOT, might I add! I fucking love this cast.

I refuse to watch any Jimmy Fallon repeated content but my man looks so good in that red sweater.

I have liked Park haesoo since his prison playbook days. good to see him do well. I'm looking forward to jung hoyeon's work, hope she keeps improving

The whole cast looked great, and were very charming in the interview imo.
And besides Jimmy's one fake laugh I thought it was a good interview.
Anyone have any recommendations of things to watch with the cast in it?

Jung hoyeon and the younger guy are newer actors. Park haesoo has acted in prison playbook (available on netflix), easily one of my fav kdramas. Lee jungjae is a very loved chungmuro aka korean cinema actor, I have only watched Il Mare and svaha of his, I didn't like either. But he has been in the game for years.

Seconding Prison Playbook. It’s one of my fave dramas and such great performances from the whole cast.

lee jungjae is in a movie called shinsaegae/a new world that is fun. it's just a genre, mob-story sort of action movie but it's pretty well done. he's also in a movie called the housemaid, which i remember thinking was just okay, but i watched it when my crush on him was at it's peak and he's really hot in it.

I don't understand how Seung Gi-hun is beloved. He's a deadbeat loser dad who gambles all day spending his poor old mother's money. Funny how they made his ex-wife and her husband look like assholes when he's a piece of shit that's leech on everyone he ever met.

Eh I mean basically the whole show is from his perspective. He’s charming and seems to care about other people despite being a mess. It was also easy for me to sympathize with him because he seemed like an addict & a victim of capitalism

He’s a mess, but he’s a kind hearted mess.
You can always count on him to make the worst possible choice in any situation but it’s not done out of malice. He gambled his money, Song-Woo gambled and stole other peoples money.
Gi-Hun’s a shitty family man and father but he would consistently look after the weaker players in the game, which is part of what makes him such a good character IMO; you just want to shake him!! Dude you’re SO CLOSE, just take that energy and apply it to your family too.

I can't speak for everyone, but I liked Seong Gi-hun because he tried to play with somewhat of a moral compass. We spent the entire series with him as the lead so it felt natural for me to care about him despite his flaws. I enjoyed his character despite his obvious imperfections.
The step-dad was an asshole, but I don't think they made the ex-wife look like one.

It's hard for me to judge because of the language barrier somewhat, but I thought everyone except for the Americans did a great job.
The people that stood out for me the most were 212 and Seong Gi-hun.

Everyone in the screenshot did a great job. Honestly everyone did. I liked the old man and Ali too.

Got cringeworthy when [Spoiler (click to open)]the white guys showed up, I had to mute them at first lol.
