Oh ew, I didn't know about that. Vegans who think they're great people and better than non-vegans just because of their diet, are usually such entitled assholes who are ignorant and in denial of their privilege.

And when clothing is labeled "vegan leather" is such a pet peeve. Like, list what it actually is made of, but it can't be "vegan leather," that's a complete oxymoron.

These companies jump on the “I’m doing good things for the world” bandwagon by using the term vegan leather, instead of calling it what it is, a synthetic fabric made to look like leather, which gives off an air of superiority and social and environmental consciousness that isn’t always true. It's a marketing tactic to sell more products, even though making synthetic fabrics often taxes the environment just as much, or more than, traditional leathers do.

I'm not pro-leather, but I am anti-bullshit.
