Was not a fan of this episode tbh, I like that Angela Bassett got many moments to shine in this episode but if I wanna watch a cop show I'd watch a cop show.

I'm not a fan of how they wrote Maddie off. I get that she would be away for a while due to Jennifers real life maternity leave but I don't like how they did it. Maddie just cut of her entire support system, is away from her home with no line of communication, without a job and has no plan how she will deal or recover from her PPD.
The show runners talked about how they wanted to explore the topic of PPD through her character but so far I don't like it.

I hate the PPD storyline, I just wanted Chim/Maddie to be happy with their baby. This is just making me miserable as a viewer, get her help off screen so JHL can be on maternity leave and then gloss over it like you always do show. THE ONE TIME I want you to do that!

I am choosing to believe that that giant mark on Eddie’s neck is a hickey and that Buck gave it to him.

Please don’t try to disabuse me of this notion, just let me keep my dreams for another 6 days.

Eddie was ruthless. I feel like Ana deserved an explanation after being a stand in mum for months. I get that she kind of inserted herself in to a family too quickly but Eddie seemed fine with it until things got serious. Poor Christopher. That's another person gone from his life. Eddie has been really irresponsible tbh. He shouldn't have let Ana in to his life if he clearly had zero feelings towards her.
