This interview is gross, but I actually think he expresses insight about how porn destroys normal human sexual relationships. If you've conditioned yourself to only orgasm to extreme porn full of violence and taboos, often skipping from video to video like he mentions, how is normal sex going to compare? So then instead of enjoying the actual sex with an actual person, you're playing a best of montage in your head and not really present.....
And unquestioning support for porn is somehow considered the "sex positive" mentality. Meanwhile people are having less sex than we've ever had before, and basically anyone under the age of 30 never had a chance to develop sexually without the direct influence of hardcore pornography. Of the ones who do have sex, men try things like choking, anal, and facials on a first date without even asking. It's such a fucking disaster.
Jesus. That's fucking awful. Women will literally be killed by men and people are like, "well, maybe it was consensual rough sex gone bad?" Like, if people are willing to recognize that certain types of sex come with the risk of DEATH for the woman maybe it's something we should condemn?!?!
oh right, it's worse to "kink shame" than to allow women's literal injury, death, and trauma... how could I forget.
(lol, sorry for all the edits. too many double negatives....)
the rough sex defense is very much a thing in cases where women are killed by strangulation. I mean technically yes, it could happen - choking, even consensual choking, is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS - but fuck! and people buy it!
This is like..... I'm flabbergasted in the same way I am with Ellen Pompeo/Denzel now but this is much much MUCH worse. Early 2000s or not this shit is RANK
Highlights include bad mouthing Brian singer (GOOD!), Calling Colton Haynes' method of coming out the 'p*ssy' way to do it (uhhh, NO?) & Judging Eric Stonestreet's Cam from modern family (I get it and semi agree)
Not only did he have to apologize for it but it was a HUGE mess lol
Taylor Swift for GQ and Vanity Fair Julia Roberts for Vanity Fair The Chainsmokers for Rolling Stone Quincy Jones for I think it was Esquire The Glee cast for Rolling Stone Mira Sorvino GQ Lindsay Lohan for Elle Brie Larson and Shailene Woodley for New York Magazine Jennifer Garner for Vanity Fair Katie Holmes for Vanity Fair
I always send people quotes from that interview when they talk about liking him. Every person gets repulsed and then tell me I ruined him for them. Good. lol

Also, can we nominate interviews? Because the Evan Hansen discourse pulled me into/reminded me of that awful Noah Galvin interview he did with vulture - https://www.vulture.com/2016/06/noah-galvin-has-nothing-to-hide.html
