My husband started watching this because he’s a sucker for space sci-fi, and then when he saw it was about mathematicians that was it-that’s basically his perfect show lol.

I really love the "universe" of this show (never read the original book series), but I'm going to need them to get to the point.
The world-building is appreciated but I'm so weary of these high-concept shows and their trickling plots.
