Dancing with the Stars: COVID edition

On Sunday, Cheryl Burke said she tested positive for COVID.

Her celebrity partner, Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, was allowed to stay in the competition. Footage from their rehearsal was used for the judges to critique.

Cody and Cheryl scored high enough to be safe, but questions arose about how they would be able to continue in the competition. Karate Kid/Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove was eliminated this week so people were speculating that his partner Britt Stewart would dance with Cody until Cheryl could return to the show.

On Thursday night, Cody tested positive for COVID.

Both Cheryl and Cody were fully vaccinated. Cody previously had COVID in February (before he was vaccinated).
