All-rounder Kpop boy group ONF, who debuted in 2017, went where no group have gone before and covered Black Swan for KCON:TACT HI 5's special "REBORN" Kpop stage. The performance was warmly received by BTS fans (Army), earning ONF the nickname 킹앤오프 (King and Off) among K-Army. [Note: "ONF" is pronounced "on and off" and spelt 온앤오프 in Korean.]

ONF are a super versatile group who experiment with lots of different genres, so I think their songs can be enjoyed by anyone. They also have great MVs with an interconnected scifi mythos that is ongoing since debut. I hope you like them!

I enjoyed the cover. Love the outfits and they did well with the choreo. It's not easy especially since they have one less member.

i really love their song sukhumvit swimming. also their space/futuristic aesthetic for the their popping mv was refreshing to see for a summer release

Since you like Sukhumvit Swimming, I recommend Dry Ice from their Popping album if you haven't listened to it! It's a similar weird reggae fusion lol. I mean I recommend literally all their songs but yeah...

Yes that's them, I absolutely love the orchestral version of We Must Love! They're considered late 3rd gen, or "3.5" as some call it.

yay i'm right! it's hard to keep up lol but i really enjoyed the cover (tho i wish the didn't copy the vocals so closely bc they are talented singers from what i've heard and bts is..well) i dont need another boygroup to stan (i got my hands full with learning about ateez rn) but oop there goes my evening catching up with their current releases lol

Yeah, it's not a great song to show off vocal ability (like many BTS songs really), but ONF get a lot of attention for their vocals already so I think they specifically wanted to show off their dance with this cover. Yuto (their maknae) especially is one of the most skilled dancers in the Kpop industry rn and worked as a professional dancer prior to debuting as an idol, so I want him (and the group) to be recognized for that as well!
