Larry needs to fry - the way he was fired by Britney and then came back the second she didn't have a choice in the matter... How could you do that, morally?? Not to mention the shit he's been privy to and continued to work like nothing was wrong. It's disgusting!

If it's pro-Lutfi then I don't think I'll watch it. I do not trust that man at all. Courtney Love said he tried to get her into a conservatorship too, didn't he? And I remember this shit where Britney was crying outside of her home because of Lutfi, it was so upsetting: https://everydub.blogspot.com/2008/01/britney-spears-sobbed-on-pavement.html

I don't know were the pro Lutfi thing is coming from. He was there and said he didn't drugged her but they also had the co-writer on Lynne's book saying he did. He is not there long enough to be presented as some hero.

I'm tired of people trying to rewrite history and act like Lutfi is a good guy. He's got multiple straining orders against him and had tried to weasel into the lives of other troubled female celebrities.

Any of the docs / articles that interview Sam Lutfi and Adnan and position them as good people are made in bad faith. It's a major red flag and makes me believe the filmmakers / journalist haven't done their due dillegence. This Netflix doc seems like a bust, made by people who don't understand Britney's history. If you're going to tell Britney's story without her permission or involvement, you better make sure that all the information presented is correct. It makes me sick.

I have not watched the doc, and only skimmed the posts here, but agree with your analysis.

I understand wanting Sam's and Adnan's perspective becouse they were close to Britney at the time. But allowing them this space without a critical lens is lazy filmmaking.

and the thing is: they've both been singing like songbirds for years!! Why not instead of interviewing Adnan you just pull clips of his 5-day exclusive sitdown with Entertainment Tonight that he did while Britney was in and out of 5150 hold??? He's not adding anything new, just getting more spotlight that he earned by taking advantage of Britney 15 years ago... At the end of the day, they dated for 3 months or something. I sure as fuck wouldn't want a 3 month fling speaking for me all these years later!!

Yes! I have not been following them, but yes, if there are clips of them talking about their experiences with Britney from that time, using those would be even better! In general, I wished there was less focus on Britney's mental health, and more on the power infrastructure in entertainment industry that allowed this horrible abuse to go on.

It sounds like this film looked into Lou Taylor a bit more, at least

If it's pro-Lufti then it can fuck straight off and keep fucking off. You can bet that if he and Jamie hadn't clashed he'd have been right on board with that c-ship so long as it paid. He just didn't want competition to be the one holding her strings.
