I fucking LOVED the early seasons of MPGIS.
Haven't watched since season 4 came out tho, not sure how good it is.

Scandals like that almost never impact viewing figures or renewals. It was embarrassing but the show was watched by enough people.

Honestly, it's ridiculousness got me through the pandemic. I liked traveling to Paris from my couch.

Me too! This show was dumb and it made no sense, but I liked watching it. Also I loved Sylvie's outfits.

The only thing I remember about this show is how she was bitching that her coworkers weren't at the office at like 9 AM. One dude showed up at like 10:30.

Like not everyone doesn't have a life like Americans do and fill the void with work, sweetie. Some people take their time.

The thing is, though, from what I understand it's actually quite normal to work a 10-hour day in Paris... you just arrive a little later at the office and then leave late. So the idea of "Oh my God they work like 2 hours per day!!" part was misleading even if start times were accurate.

fwiw I've worked later shifts and early shifts and I've always found I had more free time if I started and ended work early.
