I have such a weakness for lady vamps in media that even if the movie, show, or book ends up being dumb I’ll at least give it a go. If I were to armchair psych myself, it’s probably bc it mixes an exaggerated version of a power dynamic I crave irl with most of my favorite genres (horror/supernatural/fantasy). It extends to fictional witches too
