I actually agree with him. It would just come across as stunt casting or a gender bend to cast a woman or a man of color as Bond, IMO. Look at how shitty people have been about things like the female Ghostbusters, or the Thirteenth Doctor, or Black Hermione. Women and people of color deserve their own roles that aren't just building on what many, many men have done before them.

I agree with him too. I don't want a woman or POC Bond. Bond is inherently a misogynist straight white male character and story, I don't want that for us. Those demographics deserve original characters.

I mostly agree with him, especially when you see the trend that they take existing movies give it a female cast yet it’s still directed, written and produced by men.

Honestly I don't disagree. We have original movies starring women being badass like Gunpowder Milkshake, Peppermint, and um, I guess others that aren't bad.
