So this is... just Macbeth? No new twist, plot line, anything?
The cast looks great, I like Macbeth and I usually enjoy Coen films, but puuuh... give me something new :/

Did someone say Shakespeare? Denzel? Francis? Coen brother?
I can't wait for this.

every time i see these adaptations i remember a theater director i had as a teacher who said every single shakespeare play is supposed to be a comedy. he even had us make models of the globe and tried to make us think how a scene would play out in that space esp taking into account how the crowd would have been basically another character.

he showed us parts of the national theater live filming of hamlet with cumberbatch and he'd say this is all bullshit! these people don't know shakespeare!

it was funny af.

yeah he was an engaging teacher and very passionate about theatre. he didn't teach in his native language so he had a heavy accent but was very fluent in all kinds of curse words to insult stuffy modern theatre.

lol I mean "comedy" as we define it today isn't really how they did back then, it was basically happy ending (marriage) vs sad ending (death)

This seems more like a teaser than a trailer! This ought to be good
