Not only is it allowed but it's been done deliberately.

One of the most ridiculous examples was there was one horror film called 11-11-11. The Asylum went onto release on the exact same month a film called 11/11/11.

I haven’t watched this one yet so everytime I saw people mentioning Glenn Close in Swan Song I legit thought it was this movie and was excited to see Glenn and Jennifer Coolidge at the same film lol
