lol 100% i've been so many fan screenings and they want people to talk about the movie and get others excited. and there is just no way something like this wouldn't leak, especially since they never make anyone sign contracts (at the josstice league screening a guy legit just said on the count of three let's all promise not to spoil the movie or something).
They used to make us sign NDA’s for test screenings so I don’t know... I haven’t gone to one in about five years... But when my friend worked for Samuel Goldwyn Films and then/now A24 we had to sign NDA’s for screenings this was definitely done for publicity
maybe it depends on the studio then? pre-pandemic i went to them pretty regularly and i've never had to sign one. it might be different for people who work at film studios? they can cover their asses that way to make sure the leaks never come from them. i remember visiting my friend once who worked at an animation studio and i had to sign an nda just in case i happened to glance at something.
