Will definitely be listening to this! There was a BoB marathon on this past weekend and of course I sat there for hours and watched even though I've seen it countless times. The "Why We Fight" episode when they find the concentration camp gets to me every time.

I've never seen this series and I REALLY want to start it...but can someone let me know if the war/death scenes are as disturbing as Saving Private Ryan? B/C IDT I can handle another experience like that rn.

If it's similar to Dunkirk, I could probably do that (more war suspense, but with less graphic/extreme death scenes).

It's totally like SPR - when characters are injured/killed it is pretty visceral. I know it was fake blood, gore, etc. but the camera never shied away from showing the human cost of the (all) war.

And the sound design...well, you also "hear" what they're going through.

Yes, it's extremely graphic. The medic was my fave and the medic's ep just broke me. Doing your best when your comrades are in literal pieces! It's tough to get through all around. Idk if I could do a rewatch unless it was with someone else seeing it for the first time.
