I'm constantly shocked at how bad he's doing. This really goes to show that it's all about your team and has zero to do with your talent. Vocally, he's so much better than the rest (aside from Zayn), so logically his was meant to be the fastest, surest career to hits. Ballads, catchy tunes, etc.. But he's by far doing the worst out of all of them. Louis just has a sold-out gig. The majority of his (now postponed) tour was sold out! Granted it was small-ish venues, but still!! Louis!!!

He was one of the least popular member of One Direction, had always kind of a blank personality and I think it's actually very logical his career is flopping ? Cause the only thing he has for himself (his voice) isn't even being used. He also got a bad rep for his behaviour/scandals...I think it actually shows that putting out very safe/generic song out there isn't going to do much...Louis, to cover for his lack of talent, chose a more sincere/authentic approach to his career, use story-telling elements, so even if his songs aren't amazing, at the very least his fans are staying because they can still connect to him...

I know nothing about 1D but this song is so absolutely generic. Literally anyone could sing it and it would sound exactly the same and that kinda is the vibe I get from him as a person lmao. Like you could replace him with any other white dude and potentially no one would even notice the switch. It also kinda feels like he's trying to go for the "young, hip, and hot" sort of vibe but...is no longer any of those things. Like obviously he's not ugly or actually that old but somehow he just has very strong "played out" energies, I suppose because there is that lack of genuine personality there.

He was the least popular member, by far I would say. But he isn't the only blank personality white male with scandals and not a huge amount of fans out there. And some, much less talented than him, are doing much better. I might've overstated it with the fastest way to hits in my original comment lmao, but he should've deff hהק *a* career. I can see what you mean, but mediocracy and less are very common (especially with white men singers), so to me, it really does show that his team is at fault. He had all the connections Louis and Niall had when the band split (I'm excluding Harry because he was always way more connected), he could've had the same opportunity if his team would've worked for it.
