Lol yeah and it was interesting to see the audience reaction when he showed up they were like: Ooh look!

And then when SHE showed up the audience at my theater got really excited. This is proof people like her and the internet is wrong when they hate on her (didn’t say her name in case someone reads this comment even though this is a spoiler post 😑)

I think her role was ok since she’s supposed to be supporting. I felt like Tony Leung is co-lead with Simu.

i just want this to do well. i have no investment in the mcu anymore (asides from gotg) but i've loved simu since kim's and finally having an asian superhero on screen is so exciting.

i'm not comfortable going to theatres yet so i know i'm not helping but still.

I'm with you on all counts. I have quit pretending that one day I'll catch up on all the MCU stuff so I am not invested in any cameos, crossovers, etc.

I want this to do well because it's about damn time there was an Asian superhero in a mainstream movie, but I am not about to sit in a theater for two hours at this point. I might just buy a ticket online to help the box office totals for opening weekend and then watch it whenever it's available to stream.
