i haven't gotten through the whole album yet but honey came on shuffle in the car earlier and whoooo, what a good song. honestly, i think a lot of their great songs don't mention the subject being a man or explicitly mention a woman. is there somewhere, drive, roman holiday, heaven in hiding, sorry, now or never, graveyard, wipe your tears, honey. there's probably others and some that i know are about ex-boyfriends but i like the ambiguity when they don't specifically mention any male pronouns.

Especially on Room 93 and Badlands if the pronouns were gender neutral it was about another woman

I thought New Americana had some of the cringiest lyrics ever, but I was introduced to her other music through ONTD and really grew to like it, lol.

Some of my faves: Haunted, Roman Holiday, Ghost, Bad at Love, Castle.
