I was about to buy a pair of their classic boots for housework but people are livid in the reviews, things falling apart etc. so I need to find an alternative. I mean good for them for not deleting all of the negatives, so that's something.

just the plain sheepskin booties? i bought a lightly used pair from poshmark for $40 to wear while walking my dogs in winter and i love them! they've been in snow, ice, puddles ... i definitely don't try to take special care of them (other than once i sprayed them with water repellant) and they've been perfectly fine. they don't show any wear or anything. i would definitely buy another pair.

What was that paragraph in the book about her khaki skirt that drove Edward wild?

wish twilight would stop trying to make a comeback, we didnt forget about the rampant racism, including the fact that jasper was an unapologetic confederate soldier

Hijacking this to say I was just rewatching the first couple seasons of that and they made it clear that they were only there because their dad made them and they didn’t actually believe in what they were fighting for and deserted the confederacy (at least Damon did)

Which fine, I guess, but I want to know why they even included that damn plot line in the show. They changed so much from the books to the show. Literally have their backstory take place just a couple years later and the confederacy wouldn’t exist. Problem solved. Freaking Julie Plec. (lmao that show pisses me off I couldn’t watch it all the way through again)

I thought henleys and bootcut jeans were boring and lazy back then. I of course wore them bc I was both boring and lazy.

I remember one of my friends was OBSESSED with getting certain articles of clothing to duplicate the whole Twilight look. She managed to get one on ebay and when she showed it to me, I was like that boring ass thing is what you just spent weeks trying to find? Okay.

I had no clue there was a "Twilight look" until this post and I was in high school at the time lol. The fashion always just seemed aeropostale average to me.

Ha, that's a perfect way to describe it. There was nothing wrong with it but it was never something to emulate. Like how can you obsess over the most basic of wardrobe staples?
