“After initially responding to this litigation with a misogynistic attack against Scarlett Johansson, Disney is now, predictably, trying to hide its misconduct in a confidential arbitration,” Johansson's attorney John Berlinski said in a statement https://t.co/pa1uDc8c31

So what does ScarJo’s attorney hate Disney so much for??

- the beauty and the beast remake
- his mom got murdered by a deer and sympathy to Bambi offends him
- ruining Spider-Man
- black Ariel (he’s a rich male lawyer and looks like This do the math)
????

We’re Disney’s remarks misogynistic? I remember them calling her character into question and making her seem greedy, but…

I would argue that it is considering they bent over backwards for RDJ and whoever else to increase their pay for these films. So to specifically call her greedy when this company has reopened their parks and furloughed their employees during the pandemic is a LEWK.

They would never have played the "she doesn't care about the pandemic" card with a male actor.

yesterday her lawyers were claiming that ScarJo was in labor delivering her baby at the moment Disney released that statement basically calling her greedy and cruel

I know this won't change many people's minds about Disney but I am very much enjoying it.

I'm not a lawyer and I'm not going to pretend like I am, but I think people are forgetting one thing:

This is not the first movie to be screwed over like this by Disney, and I bet you those other movies - the actors, the people who worked on them - probably had no attempt to negotiate with maybe the exception of whoever was in charge of the Hamilton recording.

Disney simply thought they could ignore it again, but found out Scarlett Johansson's lawyers are a little better then Kenneth Branagh's and whoever represents the best interests in charge of Luca and Soul.

His movie was the first casualty to just be shoved on D+ lmao to be fair, no one besides myself and 20 other people would have seen it in theaters anyway.
