I watched this for the first time in a while and if I didn't know it was made for Beyonce I'd have thought it was made for Jennifer Hudson. "You're Gunna Love Me" is a masterclass in how to win a Tony, Emmy, and Oscar all in one scene.

NGL it's prob one of my favorite film musicals. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's pretty to look at and the songs are all great.

I just saw it this weekend, it was so good. The costume design was stunning, I'm upset you can't find really good photos of the outfits online right now, just the sketches the costume designer made.

i'm legit so tired the second i get home from work tbh and this is the kind of movie i want to give my full attention - i think if they follow the minari model then it'll be out on vod in a month or two max, and that way i can avoid the bouncing a24 watermark too lol
